The Amateur Photographer...who doesnt know how to

Hello everyone, as you can probably see i've only just joined this fanstastic community or artists...where was i before???

I have so many thoughts going through my head at the moment...this place is heaving with talent and I hope to add to it, however i dont even have a SLR!!! I dont suppose this matters....i mean i dont know what a fish eye lens is....or what a wide lens is for, hell i dont even know what the P and M settings on my point and shoot mean!

Well for an update of the old journal here i'm just going to say that I took a few pictures yesturday to try and test out a few of the settings....so i would appreciate ANY helpful comments or just comments really :)
